  1. If I recall correctly, Jaqqi was the kitty who kept me company while i slept on the air mattress that time I visited you. He was such a lovely, and loving, being. I am glad you were able to send him back to Bast without pain, and knowing he was loved. I have asked my ‘over the Rainbow’ kids to welcome him, and I know the other Starcats are there for him as well.

    • :) yes, Jaqqi might well have slipped into the living room in the wee hours to visit you. He was a unique being. His spirit was light and his soul warm. His love and affection were written all over him. I miss his sweet comfort. I miss how he slept on my knees and mitigate my mild arthritis pain. He had a way of healing. I miss him so, but also have a true sense that he’s still ‘here’ and, like all the Starcats, always will be.

  2. I am so sorry for your loss!

    • Thank you, Cal. This is a real hard time. We miss him so much.

  3. I am sorry to read about Daqqi. I had a cat I thought the world of, “Big Boy.: He was born on May 1, International Law Day. Throughout his life, “Big Boy” acted like an arrogant lawyer that did things his own way. I loved that gray and white Tom Cat. Even today, I miss him.

I’m one of those Scorpios that believes maybe everything in Life dos not happen for a reason — but, the Universe does have justification for everything that happens.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I believe it is the day when the Veil between the realms allow things to happen. If the ancient Egyptians were on to something about cats and Bast, then, I would believe that Daqqi was honored and rewarded for his or her service in this life.

In addition to expressing my condolences, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your website. For years, in the United States, the information that you post has always proved valuable to my personal research.

Now, that my wife, Christy, and I have moved back to her home in the Republic of the Philippines, you website remains a valuable source of information.

Keep up the good work. And, “Thank You” for your hard work to keep your site up and running.

    Sam

    • Sam, thank you so much for your condolences and for sharing about Big Boy. I love it that he acted like an arrogant lawyer. That makes me laugh. Especially because I worked as a paralegal/legal assistant for 18 years before getting to do astrology full time.

I agree with you about everything you said here. Egypt, Bast, Halloween and also November 1, All Soul’s Day/Day of the Dead. The Veil is very thin and at that time I hope not only to contact my dear Jaqqi and my other Starcats on the Other Side, but my dearest father who passed away on January 12th this year.

It will a most sacred and holy time.

      With warmth and affection,
      Claudia Starcats

      • Claudia,

I was sorry to read about your father’s passing on your site. My mother left this Life in June 2004. I’m a Momma’s boy. I have to believe she still looks in on me from time to time.

My wife, Christy and I have moved to the Philippines. I visit your site often to check up on astrology topics. I appreciate how you keep the natal charts for the Democrats and Republican Parties on your site. Keep up the good work. To borrow from Sydney Omarr, “Sextiles and Trines.”

Best wishes to you and keep up the good work.

        Sam

  4. Hi Sam, I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I don’t think we ever ‘get over’ these loses, but I believe at some point we get used to the fact that it happened. Perhaps it’s getting over the shock that allows us to move forward. I hope you and Christy are enjoying life in the Philippines! I think I heard that you had a typhoon there earlier this summer. A big one. I’m glad you visit my Starcats site for planet updates.

My the best be yours always,
    Claudia
