Technically, Pluto and Uranus were already part of the cardinal t-square in 2010. That t-square has broken apart.
We’re looking at 2012-2015 when Uranus in Aries will square Pluto in Capricorn 7 times. That’s where the “new” will be built upon the ashes of the old. It’s coming and not even John Boehner or Sarah Palin can stop it. Like Zinn said, you can’t be neutral on a moving train.
We’re either on the train to the future or in the ditch of denial. That’s a CDD-ism.
You can see that the Oppositions started the 20th Century. The closing square in the 30’s was Nazi Germany and the axis powers. The conjunction was the ground of change in the mid-1960’s in Virgo opposed in part by Saturn of establishment powers in Pisces. Now we’re in the waxing square phase of 2012-2015. If the 1930’s closing square was the “death square” as named by Ebertin, then this opening/waxing square is the rebirth phase. Or as Ebertin said: rebuilding on the ashes of the old.
In mundane astrology Saturn represents the forces of oppression by the powers that be and the restrictions of freedom and the burdens rulers place on the people. Uranus is THE most important political planet of all. It is, of course, about freedom, revolution, anarchy, chaos (creative and otherwise). It also represents how much freedom a society is granted by the rulers in charge. If Saturn (and pluto too) are overbearing, then Uranus seeks to redress the balance. Sooner or later, there will be an explosion.
Uranus-Pluto cycles are real ground softeners. Pluto erodes while Uranus explodes. Saturn seeks to hold on at any cost. The Saturn-Pluto opposition of 9-11 and the subsequent Saturn opposition Neptune that occurred before election 2008, were also ground softeners.
Neptune dissolves power and the “ground” on which they stand. Saturn and Neptune are arch enemies as status quo Saturn fights any force or faction that may conspire or employ subterfuge to undermine it. Meanwhile, entrenched power Plutonizes and also employs Neptune of propaganda in order to hypnotize the masses into docility.
YES, WE ARE ON THE CUSP OF A WORLD REVOLUTION! At least that’s what I think 🙂

> My hope centers around the fact that O’s health care reform mechanism will still drive the USA into bankruptcy in about 5 years. I still maintain that by our Pluto return in 2022, the USA will have claimed bankruptcy and will be casting about in desperation to refinance the whole country as we had to do in 1776. thank goodness, I just heard about this ‘opening’ vs ‘closing’ Uranus-Pluto square–I mean I knew it existed, just didn’t know there was a distinct difference in manifesting too. so when I looked at the last 1931 square I cried!!!
…sounds like a good time to begin the revolution for the Age of Aquarius, yes???
and yes, its gonna be real heavy for the USA with our Pluto Return right after the square finishes in 2022! have you heard of other studies on Pluto Returns??? the problem is finding subjects…

Studies on Pluto returns are rare. It takes 247 years for the planet to travel all 12 signs so historically a lot can happen in a country over that time frame. Looking back to the early 1760’s when Pluto last entered Capricorn, we get back into the history of the North American continent before the United States was born in 1776. The impress of ruthless power by King George of England was brutal. The Plutonic elements at play then involved a Plutonian life and death struggle to exist and a life and death struggle with factions within the nation to build (Saturn-Capricorn) enduring institutions of government. Pluto is now back in Capricorn and some of what’s reiterating are ruthless political forces busily working to erode or tear down government in hopes of ruthlessly rebuilding it in their own image.
Shorter cycles of Pluto in connection with other planets such as our study of Uranus with Pluto through the early 20th century up to now pinpoint vast cycles more clearly for us. Planet energy has to operate through people who give context to broader cycles through recorded history.
The last Uranus-Pluto square takes place in March 2015. In 5 year’s time, we’ll come to the next big timer, the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction at 0 Aquarius, the same degree in which every U.S. president is inaugurated. Then, of course, the official Pluto return takes place in 2022. My thought on the next Jupiter-Saturn conjunction prior to the Pluto return is that the U.S. presidency is going to be redefined in a very powerful way. Back in the 1770’s, when the U.S. operated under a Continental Congress, we had presidents of those congresses and presidents of various states. But there was no official President of the USA until Washington in 1789, after the U.S. Constitution had been ratified.
I have a sense that there are going to be sweeping changes that may involve the U.S. Constitution and all 3 branches of government that culminate in a redefinition of the office of U.S. president.
The Uranus-Pluto square, exact 7 times, is the beginning of a world-wide revolution that corresponds to a remaking of the world that fits a 21st Century paradigm. There will be some good, of course, and also some very bad. That’s the nature of humanity.

We are indeed at new starts when it comes to the global family. The world cannot continue along as it has. We’ve reached a state of unsustainability. The injustices sanctioned by governments — greed, a ruthless rather than measured practice of capitalism, shortages of water, destruction of the environment and corrupt class warfare (no matter where practiced) is leading to a collapse (Pluto in Capricorn) and a re-invention or phoenix arising (Uranus in Aries) where humanity builds upon the ashes of the old and outworn. I think what we’re looking at is what I call ‘a slow motion train wreck.’ Yet, through all this, I can visualize the flower pushing up through the ash heap to greet the rays of the sun. for some reason, I don’t remember reading all of this article or your reply, thanks for a wonderful forecast of important events!
Though I have to admit, getting done with work today and listening to the news, I got teary eyed for a long time, even at the grocery store–thinking about all of this that is coming and all of the poor people that would be so much better off if they knew about it…of course, they’d have to believe us first….

Do not forget that America’s natal Chiron is 20 degrees Aries. Uranus will conjunct America’s natal chiron around 2015 or 2016. Then a few years later chiron will begin its transit through the sign of aries. In the 2020’s America will experience a chiron return around the same time the pluto return occurs. This also means a pluto chiron square. Its all very exciting. In the 1930’s America did not have to deal with chiron in aries too.
